Tufts, May 2024

I'm a venture capital investor at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco. I spent my first two years at Goldman in private equity across co-investments, secondaries, primaries and GP stakes. Before finance, I attended Tufts University, majoring in economics and sociology and minoring in Spanish. I was a varsity midfielder and captain on the Tufts Soccer Team and ran a youth soccer coaching business for six years. These days my free time is dedicated to staying active, adventuring, and side questing.

My newsletter, where finance and markets meet frontier tech and information, with a healthy amount of irony and sarcasm. Who gets funded and why, what secondaries reveal about the private markets, and a little glimpse into my opinions.

Here are some side projects I'm working on.

    BENCHED

    pre-launch

An exclusive athleisure label I'm co-founding at the intersection of sports and streetwear. Inspired by team uniforms and vintage colorways, we're challenging the status quo of what a workout set looks like.

Most commonly denoted with a negative connotation, the word “BENCHED” doesn't have to mean “not good enough.” We are reclaiming the name to empower those who compete without winning, who train without reward, and who show up without an audience.

    brewr

    live MVP

A marketplace for cold outreach I'm founding. Every week I get messages from students, mostly women, asking what my job is actually like and how to break in. I want to answer all of them and I can't. So Brewr lets anyone pay $15 for a 30-minute call with someone actively doing the job they're curious about: students get a guaranteed response instead of 50 ignored LinkedIn DMs, professionals get paid for time they were already giving away, and if the request is declined the credits refund automatically.

Using React, Next.js and SQL to build the MVP, Brewr includes auth and onboarding, Stripe credits, the request/accept/decline flow, real-time messaging, and payouts. It's live with early users at brewr.net.
